Huntington Beach, CA — The @jserra.beachvolleyball team made it back-to-back victories to open the season on Thursday, as the Lions shutout the Edison Chargers 5-0 in a nonleague match at the Newland Beach Courts in Huntington Beach. Seniors Skylar Noble and Sara Moynihan (21-12, 21-13), senior Emma Champagne and sophomore Ava Champagne (21-11, 21-9), junior Berit Brinkema and senior Presley Johnson (24-22, 21-18), senior Catherine Beadles and junior Sarah Thorp (21-15, 21-16), and juniors Kaitlyn Dostert and Lyla Gerstenberger (21-10, 21-9) sparked the Lions to a clean sweep.
