Huntington Beach, CA — The @jserra.beachvolleyball team clinched its fourth straight Trinity League title (third straight outright crown) on Wednesday, as the Lions defeated the Mater Dei Monarchs 5-0 in the Trinity League and regular season finale at Newland Beach Courts in Huntington Beach. The Lions completes the regular season at 15-2 overall and 6-0 in league. JSerra has won 26 straight Trinity League matches dating back to the 2022-23 season. Senior Sara Moynihan and Presley Johnson earned wins of 21-10 and 21-11, while senior Skylar Noble and sophomore Ava Champagne produced wins of 21-9 and 21-13. Senior Catherine Beadles and junior Berit Brinkema teamed for the set of the match, as they claimed a 26-24 opening set win before putting forth a 21-17 second set win. Juniors Sarah Thorp and Lyla Gerstenberger were victorious by scores of 21-13 and 21-10, with senior Charlotte Nowak and freshman Rory McKelvie joining forces for triumphs of 21-15 and 21-13. #lionnation #jserrabeachvolleyball #jserraathletics
