Mabelvale, AR — Riverview scored at least two runs in every inning and walked away with a 13-3 run-rule victory over Little Rock Southwest on Monday night.
The Raiders scored two runs with two outs in the top of the first on a triple by Will Hicks after Layton Miller tripled and Kyrin Powers walked.
After Southwest pulled within one in the bottom of the first, the Raiders were back at it with two outs in the second, scoring two more runs on doubles by Jace Boyd and Austin Hill.
Riverview broke the game open in the top of the third with four runs on two hits. All four runs were scored with two outs.
Hicks, Hill, and Dane Clegg led the Raiders' 10-hit attack with two hits apiece.
Powers picked up the win on the mound, throwing four innings and giving up two runs on two hits while striking out six. Shannon Moore finished out the fifth inning, allowing one unearned run and striking out one.
The Raiders will be back in action Tuesday afternoon as they get back to conference play with a game at Maumelle Charter. First pitch is set for 4:30 pm.
