Fullerton, CA — The @jserra.boys_tennis team continued its' dominant start to Trinity League play on Thursday, as the Lions overwhelmed the Servite Friars 18-0 at the Fullerton Tennis Center in Fullerton. JSerra’s second straight shutout to start Trinity League play improved their record to 12-2 on the season. The Lions impressive day saw them produce eight doubles triumphs without allowing a point. Senior HB Warner and junior Kayden Kral earned a clean sweep with three triumphs of 6-0, 6-0, and 6-0. Seniors Cade and Connor Faul each posted wins of 6-0 and 6-0, with junior Enzo Biundo and senior Emilio Salgado also earning 6-0 and 6-0 victories. Freshman Aidan Andren and senior Jacob Lebrun also added a 6-0 win. Senior Tom Gormley and junior Omar Ali recorded a tandem victory of 6-3. The Lions added seven shutout wins in singles competition. Sophomore Rafael Shaikh led the effort with a perfect ledger, recording triumphs of 6-0, 6-0, and 6-0. Junior Michael Geffre was also unblemished on the day with 6-0 and 6-0 victories. Junior Robert Thornton was also a three-set winner by scores of 7-5, 6-1, and 6-0.
