San Juan Capistrano, CA — The @jserra.boys_tennis team began its’ quest for a fourth straight Trinity League title in dominant fashion on Tuesday, as the Lions blanked the St. John Bosco Braves 18-0 in the Trinity League opener at JSerra Catholic High School. JSerra is now 11-1 overall on the season. Seniors Cade Faul (6-0, 6-0, 6-0), HB Warner (6-4, 6-0, 6-1), and Emilio Salgado (6-3, 6-2, 6-0) earned the sweep in singles competition for the Lions. Junior Enzo Biundo and senior Tom Gormley produced doubles victories of 6-0 and 6-0, sophomore Leo Salgado and junior Robert Thornton were victories by scores of 6-4 and 6-0, while freshman Aidan Andren and senior Jacob Lebrun collected wins of 6-0 and 6-1. Thornton and junior Omar Ali combined forces for a 6-1 triumph, junior Kayden Kral and senior Connor Faul earned a 6-0 win, and junior Michael Geffre and sophomore Rafael Shaikh were victorious 6-0 in their lone set of action to complete the clean sweep of doubles action. #lionnation #jserraboystennis #jserraathletics
