Old Bridge, NJ — Old Bridge, NJ — Sayreville Boys Blue defeated Jonas Salk Middle School today by the score of 52-44. Salk looked to slow the Bombers down with a 2-3 zone defense and were able to keep the game close. Jayvian Cespedes, Tyler McQuiller, and Captain DJ Thomas all hit from the perimeter while the towering duo of Naeto Attah and Ryan Ruiter went for double-doubles. Gio brought great minutes on both ends as a combo guard/forward for the Bombers. Dalton Cannan and Captain Colin Maher contributed with their aggressive defense and leadership. The Bombers continue their season tomorrow against Milltown.
