After leading 24–19 at halftime, the Bushmen outscored Valley Central 20–15 in the third to create separation and carried that momentum into the final period. Manzueta paced Pine Bush with 19 points, while Lawrence followed with 14 points and seven rebounds. Merriman added 10 points, and Guzman chipped in eight points while controlling the glass.
