Saugerties, NY — Pine Bush Varsity Boys Basketball dropped a competitive road matchup to Saugerties, 64–56, on Saturday afternoon. The Bushmen came out with good energy, leading 19–15 after the first quarter, and stayed within striking distance throughout the first three periods. Lawrence led Pine Bush with 17 points and 11 rebounds, recording a strong double-double performance. Guzman followed with 15 points, knocking down three three-pointers and providing a steady offensive presence, while Merriman added seven points. Saugerties pulled ahead in the fourth quarter, outscoring Pine Bush 23–16 to create separation down the stretch. Traver and Pratt each contributed six points, and the Bushmen totaled 15 assists as a team, showing good ball movement. Despite the result, Pine Bush competed hard on the road and will look to build off the effort as they continue their season.
