Kingston, NY — Pine Bush Varsity faced a tough challenge on the road Friday night, falling to Kingston by a final score of 68–42. Kingston jumped out early and maintained control through the middle quarters, but the Bushmen continued to compete and showed resilience, finishing strong in the fourth. Despite the margin, Pine Bush stayed aggressive on both ends and worked to generate quality looks against a physical Kingston defense.
Guzman led Pine Bush offensively with 16 points, attacking the basket and knocking down timely shots, while Manzueta added 10 points and battled throughout the night. Merriman contributed on both ends, finishing with 6 points and several strong defensive plays. Although the outcome wasn’t what the team hoped for, the effort and toughness displayed against a deep Kingston squad provided valuable experience as Pine Bush continues to grow and prepare for the remainder of the season.
