Recap
Pine Bush, NY — Pine Bush Varsity hosted Goshen on Friday night and came up short by a final score of 77–55. Goshen got off to a fast start, but the Bushmen responded with a strong second half, outscoring the visitors over the final two quarters and showing improved energy on both ends of the floor. Despite the early deficit, Pine Bush continued to compete and played with better pace and confidence as the game went on.
Vitale led Pine Bush with 10 points and five rebounds, while Guzman added 12 points and was aggressive attacking the basket. Merriman contributed eight points, and Touwsma knocked down a pair of three-pointers to help spark the offense. While the result didn’t reflect the effort shown late, the team’s resilience and second-half response were positives as Pine Bush continues to build and prepare for the remainder of the season.
