Red Hook, NY — Pine Bush Varsity Boys Basketball competed hard on the road Wednesday night but came up short in a 60–50 loss to Red Hook. After a slow start, the Bushmen settled in and kept the game competitive through all four quarters, trailing 39–33 heading into the final period. Pine Bush showed resilience down the stretch, but Red Hook was able to close the game at the free throw line to secure the win.
Manzueta led Pine Bush offensively with 16 points while also dishing out six assists. Kreeger added a strong all-around effort with eight points and six rebounds, and Vitale chipped in seven points with three rebounds. Guzman and Pitt provided solid contributions off the bench, while the team battled on the boards with 27 total rebounds. Pine Bush will look to build on the effort and continue improving as league play moves forward.
