The Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Comets a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after three games remain undefeated this season. Natalia Bargas made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Bargas was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. In other batting news, Penny Cerrillos was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Leah Baez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Southlands Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Southlands Christian will venture away from home to square off against La Puente at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they will head out to face off against Ramona Convent at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
