Saugerties, NY — SAUGERTIES, NY (April 16, 2026) — In a Section 9 divisional contest on Thursday evening at Saugerties High School, the Red Hook Raiders boys varsity lacrosse team fell to the Saugerties Sawyers by a final score of 11–5.
Saugerties capitalized on strong offensive runs and timely possession to take control of the game, while Red Hook continued to battle and generate scoring opportunities throughout all four quarters.

Defensive Effort
Senior Captain Jack Melious recorded 11 saves in goal, helping keep the Raiders within striking distance during key stretches of play.
Despite the loss, Red Hook showed resilience and balanced scoring, with contributions coming from multiple players on the offensive end.
