Pine Plains, NY — Pine Plains, NY — April 23, 2026 — In a historic night at Stissing Mountain High School, the Red Hook Raiders boys varsity lacrosse team defeated division rival New Paltz 13–8 in a key Section 9 matchup with playoff implications. The game marked the first-ever lacrosse contest played at Stissing Mountain High School, adding significance to an already important division showdown. Red Hook used a strong first half, including a 4-goal second quarter, to build momentum and maintain control throughout the game. Red Hook was led offensively by Lucas Flores, who delivered a dominant performance with 7 goals and 1 assist. John Macri and Everett Giorgio each added 3 goals, while Danny Cashen contributed 3 assists to pace the Raiders’ attack. In goal, Jack Melious recorded 9 saves to anchor the defense.
