Zion, IL — The Zee-Bees lost to Mundelein Varsity Mustangs 6-3 on Monday at Zion-Benton Township High School District 126. The Zee-Bees were the first to get on the board in the second when a wild pitch scored one run. Mundelein captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third. Andrew Mitchell took the loss for Zion-Benton. The right-handed pitcher went four innings, giving up six runs (four earned) on five hits, striking out three and walking four. Mitchell led the team with two hits in two at-bats. Brayden Graham and Mitchell were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for the Zee-Bees.
