Alhambra, CA — The bottom of the lineup helped South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers capture a 14-3 victory over Alhambra on Thursday. Josh Bracamonte, Sawyer Courtice, and Thomas Kemper combined for six of the team's eight hits in the victory. They scored four runs and drove in four. South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers got on the board in the top of the second inning after Bracamonte singled down the left field line, Kemper hit a sacrifice fly, and Alhambra committed an error, each scoring one run. South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers scored six runs on one hit in the top of the sixth inning. D Gonzalez induced E.J. Pearson to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, an error scored two runs, an error scored one run, Kemper singled, scoring one run, and Lucas McCollum was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Rafi Esteva led things off on the mound for South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers. The hurler allowed five hits and three runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking four.
