South Pasadena, CA — South Pasadena Varsity Tigers matched Arcadia Varsity Apaches hit-for-hit on Monday, showing strong effort throughout the game, but ultimately fell 5-0.
Arcadia broke through in the third inning, taking advantage of a walk to bring in the first run. They later added three runs in the sixth on a home run to center, creating some separation on the scoreboard.
On the mound, Mason Wakumoto delivered a solid start for South Pasadena, allowing just one hit and one run over three innings while working through some tough at-bats. The Tigers’ pitching staff continued to compete, keeping the game within reach for much of the contest.
