South Pasadena Varsity Tigers Falls To Salesian In Low-Scoring Affair
South Pasadena, CA — Both teams were strong on the mound on Wednesday, but Salesian was just a little bit stronger at the plate and on the bases in their 1-0 victory over South Pasadena Varsity Tigers. Hanson Chan started the game for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers and recorded 21 outs.
Salesian took an early lead in the second inning when an error scored one run.
Chan stepped on the mound first for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers. The right-handed pitcher allowed eight hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking none. Jordan Ramirez went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Salesian in hits. Salesian stole four bases in the game. Salesian were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Seth Ortega had the most chances in the field with eight.
South Pasadena Varsity Tigers will travel to Temple City for their next game on Tuesday.
