Temple City, CA — South Pasadena Varsity Tigers outsted Temple City Varsity Rams 8-3 on Tuesday.
South Pasadena Varsity Tigers opened the scoring in the first after Cody Robinson grounded out, scoring one run.
South Pasadena Varsity Tigers added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Anthony Ortiz was hit by a pitch, stole second and scored when Isaiah Esquivel tripled to left field. Esquivel then scored from third on a wild pitch.
Mason Wakumoto started on the bump for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers. The left-handed pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out five and walking two.
