Goddard, KS — Lincoln Jensen was brilliant on the bump on Wednesday, as Jensen threw a no-hitter to lead Goddard Varsity Lions past Northwest 2-0. Both teams were strong on the mound. Goddard Varsity Lions pitchers struck out 11, while Northwest sat down eight. Goddard Varsity Lions got on the board in the first inning after Dunlavy homered to right field, scoring two runs. Garrison took the loss for Northwest. The hurler went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out eight and walking three. Rojas, Topham, and Dunlavy each collected one hit for Goddard Varsity Lions. Dunlavy went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Mruk stole two bases.
