South Pasadena, CA — South Pasadena suffered their biggest loss since April 8, 2025 on Thursday. They lost 18-3 to the Maranatha Minutemen. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Minutemen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
South Pasadena saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Racquel Dominguez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another was Talula Bearden, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
South Pasadena's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maranatha, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
Coming up, South Pasadena will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Alhambra at 11:00 a.m. As for Maranatha, they will square off against Burbank at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
