La Cañada, CA — Tuesday just wasn't the day for South Pasadena's offense. They came up short against the La Canada Spartans on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
South Pasadena saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camila Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
South Pasadena now has a losing record of 6-7. As for La Canada, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.
Looking ahead, South Pasadena will welcome Monrovia at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Canada, they will take on Bishop Alemany at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
