South Pasadena, CA — South Pasadena came into Wednesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Blair Vikings a 21-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the matchup before. South Pasadena got a great performance from Karina Millar as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Millar has posted since back in March. On the hitting side, Racquel Dominguez was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Camila Rodriguez was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. South Pasadena's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Blair, their record is now 0-15. As of now, neither South Pasadena nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
