Chico, CA — Enterprise Varsity Hornets couldn't keep up with Pleasant Valley and fell 10-0 on Tuesday at Pleasant Valley High School. Pleasant Valley got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Bumgarner doubled to center field, and Brunemeyer flew out, each scoring one run. Pleasant Valley added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when Bianchi doubled, scoring two runs, Bumgarner doubled, scoring one run, and Brunemeyer singled, scoring one run. Baxter earned the win for Pleasant Valley. The pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 14 and walking one. Hopper took the loss for Enterprise Varsity Hornets.
