Enterprise Varsity Hornets Fall To Foothill After Surrendering Big Fourth Inning

Palo Cedro, CA — Foothill scored eight runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Enterprise Varsity Hornets 11-1 on Tuesday at Foothill High School.
Foothill got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Adams grounded out, and Enterprise Varsity Hornets dropped a third strike, each scoring one run.
Foothill added one run in the third after Villarreal walked.
Foothill scored eight runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Seuasoukseng doubled, scoring one run, Berens singled, scoring two runs, Villarreal singled, scoring two runs, Webb singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Callegari singled, scoring one run.
Villarreal earned the win for Foothill. The starter allowed two hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Hopper took the loss for Enterprise Varsity Hornets. The righty went four innings, giving up 11 runs (six earned) on nine hits, striking out two and walking five.
Hopper went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Hopper and Graham each collected one hit for Enterprise Varsity Hornets. Graham stole two bases. Enterprise Varsity Hornets turned one double play in the game.
Adams, Seuasoukseng, Webb, Villarreal, Berens, and Callegari each drove in one run for Foothill. Berens went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Foothill in hits. Webb led Foothill with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting five walks for the game. Foothill were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Adams made the most plays with six.
