Lady Lancers Shut Out Sunnyside Behind Dominant Performance

Tucson, AZ — The Salpointe Lady Lancers delivered a complete team performance Wednesday, rolling past Sunnyside 7–0 behind a powerful night at the plate and a dominant outing in the circle.
Isa Palomarez led the charge offensively, driving in four runs on two clutch hits. Her third-inning double sparked the Lancers’ offense, bringing home two runs, and she added another two RBIs with a fifth-inning single to help break the game open.
In the circle, Macee Jackson was electric. The ace went the distance, throwing a complete-game shutout while racking up 14 strikeouts*and keeping the Blue Devils off the scoreboard all night.
Salpointe’s offense stayed aggressive throughout the game, collecting 11 total hits. Palomarez, Addi Wild, and Peaches Sztan each recorded two hits, while Torrence Salyer added pressure on the bases with two stolen bags as the Lancers swiped four bases on the night.
The defense backed it up as well, turning a double play to help preserve the shutout.
With the victory, the Lady Lancers now turn their attention to their next challenge as they **travel to Catalina Foothills on Friday
