Tucson, AZ — Johnny Abramian collected four hits in four at bats, as Salpointe Catholic Varsity Lancers defeated Nogales Varsity Apaches 9-3 on Friday at Salpointe Catholic High School. Abramian doubled in the sixth inning, singled in the second inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the first inning.

Salpointe Catholic Varsity Lancers added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Abramian singled down the left field line, Colton Raetzman doubled to right field, and David Driskill tripled, each scoring one run.
Nico Bernal hit a solo home run to right field in the top of the seventh for the Nogales Varsity Apaches.
Jacob Badilla earned the win for Salpointe Catholic Varsity Lancers. The pitcher surrendered three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out one and walking four. Max Manson took the loss for Nogales Varsity Apaches. The starter went three innings, giving up four runs (zero earned) on eight hits, striking out two and walking two. Jude Huether appeared in relief for Salpointe Catholic Varsity Lancers.
