Show Low Varsity Cougars won big over Chino Valley 23-2 on Saturday.
Show Low Varsity Cougars jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Addi Clark hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Riley Heuett drew a walk, scoring one run, Avery Ervien tripled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Angelee Villa doubled, scoring two runs, Aspyn Clark drew a walk, scoring one run, Clark tripled, scoring one run, and a passed ball scored one run.
Show Low Varsity Cougars scored nine runs on six hits in the top of the second inning. Lyndie Wallentine singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Rylee Wyatt doubled, scoring one run, Clark singled, scoring two runs, Heuett singled, scoring two runs, Ervien tripled, scoring one run, and Wallentine doubled, scoring one run.
A triple by Clark, a single by Heuett, and a fielder's choice by Tatum Townsend helped Show Low Varsity Cougars extend their early lead in the third.
