Orange Lutheran Freshman Lancers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Aiden Amat tripled to center field, and Nolan Baird singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. JSerra Catholic Freshman Lions tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a double by W Mckinney, and a single by Andrew Chang. An error gave Orange Lutheran Freshman Lancers the lead, 3-2, in the top of the third. Mckinney stepped on the mound first for JSerra Catholic Freshman Lions. The starter gave up five hits and four runs (three earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking none. Josiah Park stepped on the mound first for Orange Lutheran Freshman Lancers. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out three and walking four. Chang, S Hager, T Golden, Jax Poplowski, Mckinney, and Fick each collected one hit for JSerra Catholic Freshman Lions. Chang, Hager, Golden, and Mckinney each drove in one run for JSerra Catholic Freshman Lions. Baird provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Orange Lutheran Freshman Lancers with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-2 on the day.
