Even though JSerra Catholic Freshman Lions collected eight hits to Orange Lutheran Freshman Lancers's six, they still fell 5-3 on Saturday. W Mckinney led JSerra Catholic Freshman Lions with two hits.
Orange Lutheran Freshman Lancers jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after an error scored one run, an error scored two runs, and Jake Gallo singled, scoring one run.
Lincoln Venator earned the win for Orange Lutheran Freshman Lancers. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and one run over three and one-third innings, striking out two and walking none. Fick took the loss for JSerra Catholic Freshman Lions. The starter went six innings, giving up five runs (one earned) on six hits, striking out six and walking three.
