Pine Bush, NY — Pine Bush Varsity Bushman came up short against Kingston on Tuesday night, falling 61–51 at home. Kingston took an early lead with a 17–13 first quarter and extended it slightly before halftime, leading 29–23 at the break. Pine Bush made a strong push in the third quarter, outscoring Kingston 15–13 to cut into the deficit, but Kingston pulled away late with a 19–13 fourth quarter to seal the victory.
M. Guzman led Pine Bush with a game-high 21 points while also grabbing 8 rebounds and adding 2 steals. L. Manzueta contributed 13 points and 2 assists, and R. Lawrence controlled the glass with 6 rebounds to go along with 4 points. M. Pitt added 4 points and a block, while K. Pratt chipped in 2 points. Pine Bush finished with 22 total rebounds and battled throughout the game, but Kingston was led by M. Sheth’s 20 points and J. P’s 18 to secure the win.
