Clarkston got on the board in the top of the third inning after Brooke Bond hit a sacrifice fly, and Reagen Allen homered to center field, each scoring one run. Goodrich Varsity Martians scored one run in the bottom of the sixth on a solo home run to left field by Ashley Ledbetter. Audrey Johnson earned the win for Clarkston. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking five. Alaina Overland took the loss for Goodrich Varsity Martians. The pitcher went five innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits, striking out four and walking two. Ella Preimer led Goodrich Varsity Martians with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The second baseman went 1-for-2 on the day. Ayannah Jackson, Anna Light, Alisyn Raether, Olivia Bartlett, Ledbetter, Sophie Swanson, and Preimer each collected one hit for Goodrich Varsity Martians. Light paced Goodrich Varsity Martians with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting five walks for the game.
