Monrovia, CA — South Pasadena Freshman Tigers easily dispatched Monrovia on Wednesday at Monrovia High School, 15-3. South Pasadena Freshman Tigers got on the board in the first inning after Zach Hocker singled, scoring one run. South Pasadena Freshman Tigers scored five runs on one hit in the top of the third inning. Cooper Slattery doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Michael Foran drew a walk, scoring one run, and a passed ball scored one run. South Pasadena Freshman Tigers scored six runs on two hits in the top of the fourth inning. Slattery singled, scoring one run, Aiden Chang was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Foran drew a walk, scoring one run, Drake Donaldson drew a walk, scoring one run, and Ace Newton grounded out, scoring two runs. Mateo Castillo earned the win for South Pasadena Freshman Tigers. The starter allowed three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking two. #11 led things off on the mound for Monrovia.
