La Cañada, CA — South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers fell 8-5 to La Canada on Tuesday despite out-hitting them seven to five. Sawyer Courtice led South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers with two hits.
La Canada jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Rodriguez singled, scoring one run, Thomas Kemper induced Daniel Choi to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Nauber singled, scoring two runs.
La Canada added one run in the third after Robinson singled to center field.
South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to an error, and a sacrifice fly by Courtice.
