Whitehall, PA — Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs Impressive In Win Against East Stroudsburg North

Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs easily dispatched East Stroudsburg North on Saturday, 11-1.
Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Sudge Hoderewski hit a sacrifice fly, and Chase Miller grounded out, each scoring one run.
Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Tanner Sweeney singled to center field, Keagan Garrah grounded into a fielder's choice, Hoderewski was struck by a pitch, and Miller singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
A double by Garrah extended the Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs lead to 8-0 in the bottom of the third inning.
Dylan Grohotolsky earned the win for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs. The hurler allowed two hits and one run over five innings, striking out nine and walking two. O Peckally took the loss for East Stroudsburg North. The pitcher went four and two-thirds innings, surrendering 11 runs on 13 hits, striking out none and walking two.
Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs accumulated 13 hits in the game. Sweeney, Tyler Sanders, Garrah, and Josh Hartner each collected two hits for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs. Miller and Garrah each drove in three runs for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs. Sweeney stole two bases. Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs ran wild on the base paths, tallying five stolen bases for the game.
B Roca and Peckally were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for East Stroudsburg North. Peckally went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. East Stroudsburg North turned one double play in the game. East Stroudsburg North were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Roca made the most plays with four.
