Paola, KS — The Lady Chieftains varsity soccer team bounced back against Paola to win 2-0. The first goal came in the first half from Lilli Sanders off of an assist from Legan Caraway in the 26th minute. The second goal was scored by Evelynn Fox and was assisted again by Caraway. Lauren Breuer and Chaynee Howell split the game and earned themselves a shutout. The Chieftains turn around and play Basehor at home on Friday, April 24th. The JV Lady Chieftains soccer team fought and drew Paola 0-0. Although there was not much goal excitement, the Chieftains got two yellow cards. Chaynee Howell and Aria Branbau got themselves booked. Howell’s came in the last minute of the first half and Branbau’s was in the last three minutes of the game. The girls play again on Friday, April 24th against Basehor at home.
