Temecula, CA — Your Temecula Valley Golden Bears opened up league play with a convincing win over Chaparral high school by 15 strokes. Sophomore Justin Ruzzamenti paced the squad with a +3 38 on the difficult Stonehouse track. Sophomores Luke Paradise and Andreas Agoritsas followed up their Fab 4 teammate each shooting a +5 40. Anderson Sterba started off the round with 3 disastrous double bogeys but then righted the ship playing even par golf the rest of the way, tying teammates Ty Smith and Jeffrey Thornton with +6 41's. All in all a decent round of golf but the Golden Bears. Next week they take on Murrieta Mesa Tuesday at Cross Creek and Great Oak High School on Thursday at Redhawk Golf Course.
