Pride 21 Late Run Seals Game
Pride 21 6th grade girls were in a battle to kick-off the tournament in a back and forth game had them trailing by 3 points at half time with a score of 16-13. Real and Pride 21 both battled tough on the defensive ends of the floor. Real shot less then 20% from the free throw line which came back to cost them big. Pride went on a 7-0 scoring run in the final 3 minutes of the game to turn the game upside down and take the lead that they did not relinquish. Akira Santos lead Pride 21 with 11 points, 6 steals, and a lot of scrappy rebounds. Emani Garcia and Khloe Morris both added 4 points to help with the scoring also. Pride 21 will move on to take on the Storm Elite 6th Grade team next with their sights set on winning again to advance to the championship.
