Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats got on the board in the first inning after Mackenzie Jacobson singled, scoring two runs. Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when Kate Mitchell drew a walk, scoring one run, Hannah Johnson singled, scoring two runs, and Ella Stevenson drew a walk, scoring one run. Aleiya DiLorenzo and Alaina Trotter earned the win. The starter surrendered six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking two. Johnson went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Grand Blanc in hits. Alaina Trotter led with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the team. Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats will travel to Dow for their next game on Thursday.
