Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two singles. Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats first got on the board when Hannah Johnson singled, scoring one run. Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kayla Blumenschein flew out, Johnson singled down the left field line, and Ella Stevenson doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run. A single by Ashlyn Watkins, a double by Blumenschein, and a ground out by Johnson helped Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats extend their early lead in the third. Aleiya DiLorenzo earned the win for Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats. The hurler allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Rathnaw took the loss for Lapeer. The hurler went four innings, giving up 11 runs (10 earned) on 11 hits, striking out one and walking two. Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats piled up 11 hits in the game.
