Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats defeated Davison 12-2 on Monday thanks in part to nine runs in the third inning. Allison Acker singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Kayla Blumenschein doubled, scoring one run, Brooke Rhode singled, scoring one run, Lexi Huizenga singled, scoring one run, and Acker singled, scoring three runs.
Davison opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Davison first got on the board when Stimson singled, scoring one run.
Blumenschein earned the win for Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats. The reliever gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 15 and walking three. James took the loss for Davison. The pitcher went five and one-third innings, surrendering 12 runs (eight earned) on 14 hits, striking out four and walking none. Jordan Martin started in the circle for Grand Blanc Varsity Bobcats. The pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs over one inning, striking out none and walking none.
