Stroudsburg, PA — The Easton Area HIgh School Varsity Baseball Team traveled to Stroudsburg High School for a EPC League Baseball game on Wednesday afternoon. The Rovers struggled early as the Mountaineers scored 7 runs in the first 4 innings taking and a 7 - 0 lead as Mountaineer Pitcher Damian Budahi threw 3 and 2/3 innings of Perfect Baseball until Easton's Kham Singto broke up the perfect game with a single to Left Field. Easton went on to score 11 unanswered runs scoring 7 runs in the top of the 5th and 4 in the top of the of 7th. The Rovers used 6 pitchers in todays contest. Nolan Stem started and went 3 innings. He pitched in some tough luck giving up 5 earned runs. Easton's Bullpen came up big over the final 4 innings. Jackson Gubich, Josh Walkiewicz, Dominick Crisci and Max Martenis combined throw the fial 4 innings surrendering only 1 earned run while only allowing 3 hits and striking out 5. Dominick Crisci is awarded the win. Max Martenis gets a save.
