Easton, PA — Easton Area Junior Varsity JV Rovers dispatched Allentown Central Catholic on Friday, 10-4.
The JV Rovers opened the scoring in the first after Dech doubled, scoring one run.
The Js then added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when Greg doubled, scoring two runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.
A walk by Schaffer, and a ground out by Fish helped Easton Area Junior Varsity JV Rovers extend their early lead in the third.
Schaffer earned the win for Easton Area Junior Varsity JV Rovers. The hurler surrendered two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Gares led things off on the mound for Easton Area Junior Varsity JV Rovers. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none. Fish and Caudill each appeared in relief for the JV Rovers.
