State College, PA — Easton Area Junior Varsity JV Rovers couldn't keep up with State College and fell 15-3 on Saturday. The JV Rovers got on the board in the top of the first inning, scroring three as the State College hurler struggled with command. Easton scored on a wild pitch, Munjone walked, and Bush walked, each scoring one run. State College flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on six hits to take the lead, 5-3. State College added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning and never looked back. Gares took the loss for Easton JV Rovers. The starter went two innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking three. Munjone and Bush were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Easton . Gares, Alvin,, Ramirez, Fish, and Greg each collected one hit for Easton Area Junior Varsity JV Rovers. Alvin, stole two bases. State College tallied 11 hits in the game. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game.
