Bethlehem, PA — Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers had trouble keeping up with Liberty in a 10-4 loss on Tuesday at Liberty High School. Liberty got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after the JV Canes grounded into a fielder's choice, Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers committed an error, and Liberty grounded out, each scoring one run. Rocco Schaffer took the loss for Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers. The pitcher went four and one-third innings, giving up eight runs (five earned) on five hits, striking out none and walking two. Logan Fish went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers in hits. Pacheco, Munjone, Caudill, and Schaffer each drove in one run for Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers. Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers play at home on Thursday against Bethlehem Catholic in their next game. First pitch is scheduled for 4pm at Charles Richards Field on the campus of Easton Area High School.
