Nazareth — Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers had trouble keeping up with Nazareth Area in a 15-2 loss on Monday. Nazareth Area got on the board in the top of the first inning and never looked back. Rocco Schaffer started the game for Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers. The starter gave up 10 hits and seven runs (five earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking none. Schaffer went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers turned three double plays in the game, but ended with six errors which proved to be the difference.
