Laker got on the board in the top of the first inning after #10 doubled, scoring one run, #19 tripled, scoring two runs, #17 singled, scoring two runs, and #5 doubled, scoring three runs. A double by #15 extended the Laker lead to 10-0 in the top of the third inning. Laker scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. #10 drew a walk, scoring one run, a steal of home scored one run, #19 tripled, scoring two runs, and #15 singled, scoring one run. Wieland stepped on the mound first for Pinconning Varsity Spartans. The hurler surrendered three hits and six runs (five earned) over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking two.
