Pinconning Varsity Spartans got on the board in the third inning after Alex Shelagowski grounded out, scoring one run. Logan Walters singled down the left field line, which helped Gladwin tie the game at one in the bottom of the third. In the top of the sixth, Pinconning Varsity Spartans broke up the tie when Colton Shelagowski doubled, scoring two runs. Then a single by Jaxson Allard followed to extend the lead to 4-1. Blake Kareus led things off on the hill for Pinconning Varsity Spartans. The hurler allowed three hits and one run over six innings, striking out five and walking one. #22 started on the bump for Gladwin.
