Tyler Sanders singled, scoring one run, Callen Nicklas singled, scoring two runs, Jack Lloyd singled, scoring one run, and Kaden Dubaskas induced Henry Shultz to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs got on the board in the top of the first inning after Wyoming Valley West committed an error, Chase Miller singled to center field, and Nicklas singled down the right field line, each scoring one run. Lloyd earned the win for Whitehall Varsity Zephyrs. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Jesse Klem took the loss for Wyoming Valley West.
