Westhill Varsity Vikings defeated Weston Varsity Trojans 16-2 on Thursday thanks in part to nine runs in the sixth inning. Paul Nanos singled, scoring one run, Liam Stevens drew a walk, scoring one run, Thomas Beck drew a walk, scoring one run, Justin Linker induced David Quattrocchi to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Zach Rende singled, scoring one run, Aidan Dube drew a walk, scoring one run, Paul Nanos drew a walk, scoring one run, Daurin Arias drew a walk, scoring one run, and Liam Stevens was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
Westhill Varsity Vikings jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Drew Babore singled, scoring two runs, Charles Combest grounded out, scoring one run, Christian Pelletier singled, scoring one run, David Quattrocchi tripled, scoring one run, and Zach Rende singled, scoring one run.
